We begin with an assessment, which costs £45 + VAT. It is a proper tear-down and bench diagnosis rather than a quick look, so it takes time. You then get a quote, and nothing chargeable is done until you agree to it. An SSD in place of the original hard drive is often the single upgrade that makes an older laptop usable again.
